Caroline Biondo,
LPC-MHSP
Knoxville, Tennessee
Welcome to Songbird Psychotherapy. If you're reading this, you've found a counseling practice dedicated to helping every patient find their voice and take flight. I'm so glad you're here!
About Songbird Psychotherapy
Songbird Psychotherapy is solely owned and operated by Caroline Biondo (that's me!). I am a nationally certified and licensed professional counselor, and I have 10+ years of experience treating eating disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, adjustment disorders, and neurodivergent individuals across the state of Tennessee.
Why "songbird" psychotherapy? So glad you asked!
It's easy to lose yourself in a world like ours. Amid the noise of everyday
life, we tune out the thousands of little wonders that surround us. But when you take the time to slow down and tune in, you begin to notice the multitude of music and color that
fills our everyday lives. Songbirds are an excellent reminder that there is an abundance of wonder to be discovered if we practice taking the time to see it.
And if you've ever REALLY stopped to notice songbirds, you've probably noticed something incredibly impoirtant: they are far from delicate little things. They are bold; they are resilient; they are LOUD, insistent, and
tenacious; and they are, to me, the embodiment of audacious joy.
And it is THIS imagery that captures the spirit of my therapeutic practice: Healing is not just about finding peace, it's about cultivating unapologetic, raucous, radiant joy.
It exists all around us; why not within us, too?
